People sometimes ask us if greyhounds make good family dogs. The answer is usually yes, unless there is a 2 year old who will terrorize the dog. But for us, we found, quite unexpectedly, that having greyhounds expanded our family. During the couple of years that we have been taking care of our hounds, we discovered that we bonded quite closely with the community of other greyhound adopters. We were saddened to learn recently that our friends Josh and Michael are moving to Seattle, so we had a bittersweet sendoff for them. We think you’ll see the family spirit that was present during the celebration of our time together.
