They’re like Lays potato chips…

You can’t have just one…

Indy is a four year old fawn-colored greyt from the closed track in Guam. He’s been with us for almost four months now. He’s a laid back guy who loves to run at the corral, but has had SA issues. You see, when the track closed, he was adopted out to a family that did not take care of him properly. He was rescued from near death and nursed back to health by the wonderful people at the GAIN shelter. Consequently, he’s had abandonment issues. To make him feel comfortable, he’s been taken EVERYWHERE. Local bank-yep. Luncheon under the redwoods-ditto. Visits to the senior home-of course. But he’s such a great guy around the house, we decided to give him a companion. This way, he (hopefully) won’t be so lonely when we leave and the fun quotient gets doubled.

So last week Molly, a nine year old white-coated brood matron, joined the household. Her previous owner reluctantly gave her up because he moved to a retirement home that did not allow Molly to join him. She’s a livewire, and perfectly complements Indy’s personality. They’ve gotten along greyt from Day One, and the few times we’ve left them alone (only for a short time), Indy has been calm upon our return. Maybe this SA thing can be put to rest. Speaking of rest, here’s a pic of what greyts do best…

We warned you about that – didn’t we? :-)

Yours are doing that “synchronized” sleeping thing as well – don’t you just love that?
Lined up like airplanes on a runway – just not planning on going anywhere soon…

Yes, I was warned. I must say, if one is greyt, two are greyter! They get along like two peas in a pod.
